During his time in the Sixth Form he took part in the Erasmus project, which enabled him to work with students across Europe.

“The experience was incredibly useful because it really helped me to develop my communication skills, which will undoubtedly be important in my future career. I can't speak highly enough of the Sixth Form, and I would recommend it to anyone because our teachers' passion to see us succeed is genuine.”

  • Bow Sixth Former Bilkis achieved ABC in History, English and Psychology and is looking forward to attending University of London in September, to read Psychology. She credits the experiences provided by the BowExtra! enrichment programme and Becoming X personal development curriculum which have developed the skills and qualities that will be invaluable
to her in the future, alongside offered exposure to of once-in-a-life time experiences.

“I am so grateful to my teachers, their support and the incredible sense of community that has helped me to build strong relationships with all of those around me. The community is unrivalled – it is warm, welcoming and smaller class sizes mean the support we get is personalised to us. I would advise younger students to set high expectations of themselves, as everyone at Bow will have these of you, and the support network will do their best to help you achieve your dreams.”

  • Celebrating an impressive 3 A’s in History, Politics and Economics, Daniel is proud to be one of Bow Sixth Form’s highest achievers. With multiple offers to read History at Warwick or Durham University, Daniel has plenty of time to decide – he has big plans to take a gap year first and develop his cultural capital as he traverses the globe.

“There is a genuine sense of care at the Bow Sixth Form. Teachers are attentive, listen to your aspirations, understand learning styles and know and value every student as an individual. Peers motivate one another. Across the Sixth Form, purpose-built spaces, small classes and private study areas allow for attentive learning and a personalised approach to our education – it’s the perfect place to achieve our ambitions, but not before our teachers help us to figure out what they are!”

  • Bow Sixth Form Senior Ambassador Waleed celebrates the achievement of D*DD in Business BTEC, an impressive feat that will catapult him towards achieving his dreams. He looks forward to embarking on a Finance apprenticeship, before attending university to read Accounting and Finance.

“I am so happy that I chose to continue my education at the Bow Sixth Form. I always thought it would be the best option as I had a brilliant experience at school, but looking back on the last two years I am confident that I would not be where I am without the Sixth Form. The support I received from the Sixth Form team encouraged me to challenge myself and excel, and as a result I have come out with the best grades possible. Not only this, but I gained so much experience and so many skills that will help me stand out from the crowd when applying for university”.
